    Job Profile:
    We are seeking for experienced consultants - Executive Compensation to respond to an increasing demand for executive compensation advisory services in the Greater China region, particularly in Shenzhen area.
    Responsibilities:
    To deliver top quality compensation advisory services at the executive and Board level that generate high client satisfaction, and contribute to the creation of new executive compensation and governance structures in the Greater China region, particularly in Shenzhen area.
    Analyze and resolve issues, and provide advice at the executive- and Board level.
    Provide creative and differentiated advice that enables companies in particular in Shenzhen, to attract, retain and motivate senior talent and gain competitive advantage.
    Develop and manage compensation advisory projects (including executive compensation strategy, pay competitive assessments, annual incentive plan design, stock-option and other long-term incentive plan design, and advice on response to corporate governance initiatives).
    Formulate recommendations and prepare client reports.
    Build and develop client relationships at senior client levels by showing expertise on issues related to executive compensation.
    Responsible for achieving personal billable hours/revenue target in order to attain profitable growth for Watson Wyatt's executive compensation practice in Shenzhen office. Actively contribute to marketing and business development activities.
    Maintain trusted advisory relationships at the senior executive and board level.
    Contribute to the development of innovative Watson Wyatt compensation advisory products and services.
    Lead and participate in direct marketing activities, responses to inquiries, public presentations, seminars, and other business development activities that contribute towards growth and enhance Watson Wyatt's brand and market position as the # 1 Executive Compensation advisory firm in the Greater China region, particularly in Shenzhen area.
    To lead and develop junior associates with an interest in executive compensation from among Watson Wyatt's wider Organization Transformation and Benefits practices in Shenzhen office, through excellence in coaching and mentoring.
    Serve as a resource person of subject matter expertise and foster continuous people development.
    Ensure high-quality technical content and delivery in all materials, by overseeing and conducting analyses.
    Act as a role model of Watson Wyatt's goals and values.
    Actively provide thought leadership within the practice as well as to the external business arena.
    Qualifications:

    For Senior Consultant, minimum 4-6 years experience and for Consultant, minimum 4 years experience are expected.
    Excellent academic credentials (e.g. MBA, law, CPA or actuarial science degrees from top school, certification such as CCP or equivalent).
    Well versed in compensation consulting experience in a recognized consulting firm in such areas as incentive compensation, stock-based compensation, annual incentives, base salary structures and performance management systems.
    Experience in market benchmarking (competitive analysis) and salary surveys, job classification and evaluation systems, design of base / variable pay programs, design of equity compensation programs (preferred), and analysis of complex pay issues.
    Excellent track record of professional achievement, demonstrated by identifying, winning and successfully completing significant assignments or encouraging and leading major change efforts.
    Ability to develop business and consult effectively at executive/board of directors' level.
    Excellent analytical skills both in terms of logic of reasoning and analysis of numerical and financial data.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to explain difficult concepts clearly.
    Ability to lead and develop junior team members.
    Demonstrated ability to lead and manage major compensation consulting projects and client relations across industries and geographies.
    Understanding of the finance, accounting and legal requirements regarding employee stock plans is desirable.
    Positive ('can do') attitude, with business acumen and client service sensitivity.
    Team player who has the drive to grow both personally and professionally in a short time period.
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to articulate complex concepts/models clearly.
    Strong written and verbal communication skills.
