Finance and Administration Majordomo
Job Description
1.Be a “finance business partner” to management of the business group and the corporate and analyze and interpret business operations data in order to
develop meaningful and actionable information for management
2.Provide leadership to a team of finance analysts to timely compile the budgets and rolling forecasts, review and prepare performance reports, monthly
management information and explain major variances, for all lines on the profit and loss statement
3.Be accountable for the direction and coordination of management accounting policies and implement the financial controls within the global business
operations of the business unit
4.Assist in the formulation of, and administer financial procedures and processes in order to consistently account for business activities in a standardized,
and transparent manner
5.Liaise with budget holders to control costs and capital expenditure
6.Manage manufacturing/product costing and pricing, pricing policies and procedures, and monitor prices, costs and margins for the business unit’s operations in the region
7.Track progress on initiatives using forward looking measures as embodied in the Balanced Scorecard
8.Work with other managers in the organization (eg sales, purchasing and manufacturing personnel) on a wide variety of projects and endeavors that require
collection,assimilation, collation, tracking and analysis of operational and financial information pertaining to the operations of the business
Requirements:
9.A strong accounting or costing or management accounting background (with relevant academic and professional qualifications) is required of the individual.
The candidate would have 6-10 years of relevant previous experience gained in a multicultural business-to-business manufacturing environment.
10.A positive “can do” attitude, hand-on disposition is essential as is the ability to see the bigger picture when preparing business cases and developing cost models.
The successful candidate would be results-oriented individual, a good communicator, team worker and have a commitment to deliver in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
11.Fluency in English, relocation to Hong Kong with frequent travel to China and moderate regional/international travel is required.
