DESCRIPTION
This individual plays an important role to design new products and enhance existing products. He works with diverse technologies which allow for numerous career growth paths, including, but not limited to, .NET Framework development, Windows CE, optical testing techniques, as well as all aspects of fiber optic testing in a real-world environment.
POSITION OVERVIEW
Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and installing to support proprietary software for fiber optic test equipment. Gathers requirements from marketing specifications and creates engineering specifications and develops code. Designs and writes code to support existing software. Familiar with standard software development concepts, practices, and procedures using C++, C# and .NET. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs programming assignments including windows C#, Microsoft .NET Framework, Windows CE, source code revision control, and program deployment strategies.
Maintains and modifies microprocessor embedded programs
