Functional Scope:. Interprets applications for customers. Provides follow-up support and disseminates
technical information for specific applications. Conducts seminars to demonstrate products and evaluate customer needs.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Essential Job Functions:
· Develop and Create RELL product Marketing and promotion Strategies and generate associated specific programs with focused Key Applications, Key Customers, Key Vendors, Key Products and Key Actions in a Dynamic and Timely manner.
· Generate and Create Sales Tools (Application specific Circuit Diagrams with associated RELL Vendor/Products, Technical Presentations for specific promotional programs/products, RELL Vendor/Product Competence Technical Analyses –SWOT- against Major Vendor Competitors/Products etc) in a Dynamic and Timely manner.
· Support FSE/DSM/Account Manager to Identify Design in opportunity, choose right RELL products for the design, help customer R&D engineer to solve the technical problems encountered in the design via effective phone calls and field visits.
· Continuous learning and understanding of RELL and vendor products and applications. Maintain and develop the working business relationship with RELL supplier's Technical Sales Force and RELL product management team. Make “buddy” calls to customers with supplier's sales people when they are strategically and tactically necessary.
· Provides technical support and expertise to the company’s sales staff and customers.
· Reviews, discusses and interprets customers’ requirements for REL products.
· Participates in daily sales, project sales and other sales promotion.
· Analyzes customers’ needs, determining modifications and changes needed to fulfill customers’
requirements for REL components.
· Consults with the customer’s engineering department on changes.
· Consults with vendors regarding technical issues & new product opportunities.
· Works with SBU management to develop value added products
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May assist in management of value added production personnel.
Qualification Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of SBU’s products. BSEE with 3 to 5 years related experience in RF & Microwave Communication application fields.
Working Environment:
Office and 25% travel at a minimum
