SUMMARY OF JOB FUNCTION:
To provide a skill lead for the concept and design of manufacturing jig and tool.
Facilitate product transfer interface between sites.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1》Concept and design of new tooling.
2》Support a global design model for NPI.
3》Provide guidance to the rest of the MCAD team and instruct in the use of good design practice and manufacturing techniques.
4》Experience in the use of 3D solid modelling and simulation techniques
5》Selection of materials and process.
6》Provide Interface with R&D Engineering & Process engineering.
7》Instigate product CR in line with manufacturing and supplier capabilities.
8》Good English communication skills for Interface with other sites.
9》Supervisory skills.
10》Manage work scheduling through the group.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
Extensive jig and tool experience in Electrical or similar related industry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Deg level in mechanical engineering/design
PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Willing to undergo occasional travel to suppliers and R&D centre in UK
