Name of position: Engineer in the CPO
Direct Manager: CPO
Main Responsibilities:
• Search and identify parts in the local vendors/manufacturers.
o Opportunities
o Capabilities
o Fitness to our business model
• Perform in the selected suppliers
o Technical audits
o Qualification
• Search/compare company's "spec." to vendor's one and vice versa.
• Technical interface between the local vendors and company's :
o Engineering.
o R&D.
o Purchasing
• On-going suppliers control:
o Managing ECO process
o Quality control
o Technical support
o Cost reduction
o Qualifications
Capabilities and knowledge:
Professional:
• Mechanics Engineer academic grade (parallel to Engineer in Israel)
• Experience in mechanical design
• Familiar with R&D process
• Professionalism in production engineering, concurrent engineering
• Ability to read and understand specifications and drawings
• Experience in working with vendors/suppliers/manufacturers
• Working at Hi-tech companies
• Working at manufacturer work shops- an advantage
• English – understanding, speaking and writing: must. Fluent English will be an advantage
Personality:
• Fully dedication to company and work.
• Learning capabilities.
• High communication skills, very good interfaces.
• Understanding the Western culture or at least experience in working with western people.
