TITLE: Sr. Project Manager,
POSITION SUMMARY: Sr. Project Manager Asia is primarily responsible for the coordination of complex projects that transit technology and production from The Company Engineering to Asian manufacturing sites, and, manage and ensure The Company products’ On-Time Delivery (OTD) at the expense competitive as possible as it can be. These projects typically occur as a part of the New Product Introduction (NPI) process, a part of the planning and/or a part of the cost reduction projects, and can involve any of The Company’s product divisions. Work remotely and directly with The Company Engineering, suppliers, The Company Sourcing and The Company product divisions to translate product performance requirements into structured and executable tasks, milestones or processes, leading to the transition to a manufacturable product while meeting program targets. Facilitate communication between operational groups within The Company, often across product divisions, as well as between Engineering, Program Management, Materials and the manufacturers. Target and help to develop capabilities and processes within The Company to meet the customers’ needs. It is necessary to travel occasionally to The Company products divisions’ localities and suppliers’ sites, either domestically or internationally.
