Functional Scope:
Under supervision, makes telephone sales to existing and potential customers in China. Sales activities including taking orders, creating orders through customers, quotation requests, expediting orders, and servicing all customer needs. Involved with technically oriented product mix of industrial electronic components.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Essential Job Functions:
Takes customer orders and confirms price and delivery.
Provides price and delivery quotations.
Expedites orders on customer request.
Services customer needs for technical data and solves any potential problems.
Makes direct customer sales calls in concert with (assigned) District Sales Manager.
Makes follow-up contact with potential customers identified through telemarketing efforts.
Records all calls made as well as response (in Robinet)
Maintains and enhances customer database through telemarketing program on Robinet system.
Prepares and organizes telemarketing programs by qualifying sales leads to generate new business.
Qualifies customer types, pricing levels and competitive source information.

Bi-lingual English. Bachelors degree required. Two to three years experience selling into China required. Electronics experience preferred.
